Who provides ApplyHalo

The service

ApplyHalo provides free resume review, job matching from employers we have checked, a job shortlist and free interview practice. Optional paid assisted applications are bought as credit packages: one credit pays for one assisted application. ApplyHalo is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the employers whose jobs it shows.

Eligibility

You must be 16 or older to use ApplyHalo. One person per account.

Your account

Use an email address you control and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or enter. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the service to you — for example to read your resume, review it with our AI model and match you to jobs. Resume reviews and practice material we generate for you are yours to use. You can delete your content at any time.

Truthful information

Everything you upload or enter about yourself must be true. Our AI is instructed not to invent qualifications and its output is checked against your resume, but checks can miss things: review every AI suggestion before you rely on it.

Job listings

Listings come from employers’ public job boards and can change or close at any time. We check that an employer’s official website links to its job board, but we do not guarantee any posting, salary, work arrangement or outcome. Always confirm details with the employer.

AI output

Resume reviews, match scores and practice questions are automated opinions, not professional advice and not a probability of being hired.

Application credits and assisted applications

• You buy application credits in packages; prices are on the pricing page and shown again at checkout. One credit is used for each role you choose for an assisted application.
• Nothing is submitted without your explicit consent and your final approval of each application.
• Some employer sites need a person to complete the form. An application is marked “submitted” only when the employer’s confirmation is recorded. No interview or job offer is guaranteed.
• If we can’t complete an application, its credit goes back to your balance.
• Credits don’t expire while your account is open. Unused credits are refundable: ask us through the support form within 12 months of purchase and we refund each unused credit at the per-application price you paid for it. Used credits aren’t refundable. Deleting your account cancels unused credits, so ask for a refund first.
• We never bypass CAPTCHAs, invent answers or misuse credentials.

Acceptable use

No fraudulent documents, impersonation, scraping of the service, attempts to access other accounts, attacks on the service, or using it to spam employers.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Account in your dashboard. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we will show a notice in the app and email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect, and ask you to accept the new version. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before then.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The free service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities, or decisions made by employers. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws where you live, or our liability where it cannot be limited by law.

Governing law and disputes

The governing law will be stated here together with the operator details, which are being finalized. Until then, if something goes wrong, contact us first and we will try to resolve it within 30 days.
